Hey all
Does anyone have any experience with the silo tanks? And if so, good, bad, or any information on them. Wondering if they are hard to clean and if they are affordable or not.
Thanks in advance
Kevin

I found a used silo tank that was used in an Amish cheese shop that had gone out of business. It is only 575 gallon so not a big tank but easy to load, empty and clean. Benefit to me is the small footprint.

FYI, Got ahold of MES, they quoted a general ballpark for silo tank is 3$ per gallon. Thant is a basic quote without any special or custom work done.

I think a poly silo tank for permeate makes sense, especially in certain cases. It will have a smaller footprint and won't need a roof which makes it cost competitive against SS open tops. Also, putting the outlet above your RO feed pump can be very costly and might work without site grading with the silo tank.
