    Default Family Time

Ok, I have a dilemma. Last year we tapped 30 trees with buckets. My son (9) and daughter (7) loved checking for sap when they got off the school bus. I’d wait u til they got home and we’d go out and collect the sap and haul it in. I really enjoyed that time together, but near the end of the season it became a chore.

This year we talked about tapping 50 but on tubing and running it right to the Sugarhouse. How can I fulfill continue to fulfill that family gathering time? This will be the first time going the tubing route.

Leave a handful of taps that don't fit in with your tubing runs the best and hang buckets on them.

That’s a good idea. We are going out after school today to mark layout our plan. Now instead of 50 on tubing I can add 10-15 more on buckets since the lower part of property is below the Sugarhouse.
