    Default Guzzler usage

    Quick question
Can a Guzzler 500 pull sap from tank 800 ft away, and lift it about 10 ft then dump it in another tank? Can it be used as a transfer pump? I don't have electricity to my gathering tank.
    Thanks

I just emailed bosworth company about pushing sap 500ft with a total elevation of 40ft with 3/4 inch line with a 24v guzzler. As soon as I get a reply I’ll let you know. If not I was told to get a D70 hypro pump with a gas motor but I’m not fond of it being a sprayer pump.

Thank you for your inquiry. The max lift for the G2 Sap Puller is 20 feet. For pushing maple sap into the tank, distance is not a problem but you will definitely want gravity to work in your favor.

I've got a 12volt guzzler that I would ship and pay for the freight for 500.00, I'm sure that it will pump the same as a 24, battery life is probably not as good. They get big money for those 24volt units.
