    Default Leafs dropping early

I have heard that there is some sort of blight that is affecting the maple trees in our area causing the leaves to drop early. Anyone hear anything about this?

That's not a lot of information to go on, but I would suspect you're describing maple anthracnose. This is a fungus that causes premature browning and leaf drop. Very common. Not real problematic. Due mostly to the wet spring we had. Nothing you can really do about it, but also not anything to be greatly worried about.

Then again, could be something entirely different. Your post is the equivalent of saying "My friend is sick, any idea what it might be?" A description and/or photos would be helpful.
