    Default Sugarhouse progress

I know it doesn’t look like much now, but the sugarhouse timberwork is almost finished, we are pouring the floor this week, and should be raising the frame at the end of the month. Once that happens the finish work will begin and hopefully complete by November when the evaporator shows up. Lots to do but hopefully we will make it 1CAB2371-A2F9-46D7-9A30-059C876C9673.jpg

What size is your sugar house going to be? what kind and size of evaporator will you be receiving? I'll bet you can't wait to get everything set up and ready to go for next spring

The sugarhouse is 16x28, and the evaporator is a 3x10 oil fired h2o classic. We are definitely excited, wish i could figure out how to upload more pictures here, just wont let me for some reason.

    Well Kevin,
You are going to have quite the operation going when you get things set up. I wish you nothing but the best in all your endeavours, and may all your trees run at 3% or better.

Congratulations on a great job! It looks nice, you will enjoy making syrup in the new digs.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
