Default Lapierre 30X8 with volcano arch boiling rate

Im looking at a used 30X8 lapierre with a volcano oil fired arch. It has a hood and preheater. What would be a good boiling rate for this rig.

I would say 70-80gph, but you gain some because of the instant heat.

Nate is correct. 70 gph plus approx 10% additional for preheater. Nice rig good luck with it!

That is exactly what I have for a rig. 65 gph is about all I could ever get out of it. I have since put a Steamaway on it. That put me up over 100 gph. The best year of production was 1075 gallons on it. That year was a blast! I have owned it for 15 years now. Almost time to trade it in.
