Default Having an air tight arch front fabricated

Was wondering if anyone has made their own or had a air tight arch front made for an older style arch with a cast front? I know Leader makes and sells them but they seem super expensive for what you get. I have a local metal fab shop that does excellent work and would think they would be able to make one if I took the old cast arch front to them to use as a basic pattern. Thoughts on this?
