You will really like boiling on that in your new digs.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

All is Good. What a beaut of a day!
We are getting close to the sugarin season and we piped in the smoke stack, My father in law helped me with the bricking and we put in a head tank and stand. Now sometime this month we'll boil some water and see what happens!

Today was the first boil. We boiled up to 12 gallons an hour. We collected 55 or so gallons the last few days and now have sweetened the pans. What a great start to the season. We had 3 generations working on the homestead today!

After 3 boils we have over 2.5 gallons of syrup... I hope the season lasts another couple of weeks. I tested my tress and got sugar % from 2-4% through out. I did get a 3% reading in the tank! So that is good.
