    Default vinegar

Was wondering if anyone has ever used vinegar to clean 3/16 lines at the end of the year we use it for cleaning pans?

You can use store brought vinegar for cleaning pans and it will work great. Don't use vinegar in your lines because it contains salt, attracting animals.
Remember to keep on ticking while the sap is dripping.
    2016- 50 buckets. Made 4 gallons.
    2022- 3900? taps + Smartrek! Made 1300 gallons.

Yes I tried it a few years ago. Don't know if it was a coincidence or not but the squirrels chewed my 3/16" tubing and fittings. Some of it right thru and the lines came down. Never had any trouble before. This year I flushed with RO water and then sanitized with Isopropyl. We'll see what happens now.

Where in the Kawarthas are you Dlee?
