I would like to pull my concentrates from my wood fired evaporator at about 20 - 50 brix. Are there hydrometers that measure in this range? Where can I get one?

I don't know if any hydrometers do, but at least some refractometers are capable of 0-85 brix.
Hydrometers geared towards craft brewing measure at a lower brix range and are relatively low-cost. Might be something to look into.

Thanks a lot for the tip! I just went to Amazon and looked at them and learned a lot. They have specific gravity to brix conversion charts and the one I looked at is calibrated to 60 degrees F. It measures brix from 0 - 34 so it should help me.
I am open to any/all suggestions. Will hydrometers for beer work? - It doesn't have to be exact nor all that accurate even. Would a beer one work with hot sap? At what temperature are they calibrated for? What differences would I be looking at in terms of brix 'measurement'?
