    Default H20 ro

So I'm buying and ro this spring probably gonna go with an h20 I have about 1200 taps all on high vac. My question is there's a 500 gallon an hour to with an 8 in membrane and a 300 gallon an hour with 2 4 inch membranes so would the 8 inch plug up faster or will the 300 work better with the 2 membranes. Also anyone have an h20 ro and what are the pros and cons caught my attention by their considerable less than the leader mini extreme and the lapieere any suggestions would be great thanks.

We run an H2O machine. Ours is a bit larger but absolutely no complaints. I would go with single 8” membrane. More flow, expandable, and you will not be disappointed.

With 1200 taps the 300 is too small so go with the bigger one. Personally I'd buy the Lapierre because I like the recirculation pump set up. Mine has been a trusty workhorse for me since 2005.

Go with an expandable 600. It's only a few bucks more, but it gets you a bigger pump and the connections to add a second tower if needed in the future. We only get bigger, never smaller.

I'm a big fan of H2O. Customer support has been top notch...based on that alone, I probably wouldn't go with anyone else. Also, the machine works well and is simple to operate/maintain. They are reasonably priced (as you've found) and even better on spring sale.

We support 2200 taps with a 350 gph RO - some long days but not that often(2-3 times a season). The smaller size lets us boil on days with smaller runs and keep sap fresh and still have plenty of permeate to rinse/wash. The main reason we haven't upgraded is power consumption - pretty big jump when going up to a 600 gph machine.
