    I grew up in Muskoka and still keep in contact with quite a few people in that area they’re all kind of saying the same for the north not looking the greatest but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all you guys. Our going season on the Bruce hasn’t been the greatest either but At least it’s been running. I am averaging 1.5g per tap per day when it’s been running with yesterday not being added into the mix. Things ran good for us yesterday.
    225 taps 180 on vac 45 on natural gravity lines.
    2x6 drop flue with auto draw.

    Well today could be the days the trees let go lots of sun and +5 will see what happens. Where abouts in the Muskoka's Gravenhurst Bracebridge I'm not far from there.

    Frozen sap filled the lines this morning, some sun out now hopefully we see so e real flow.

    2022 - 21 taps: 470 litres of sap / 15.75 litres of syrup (stopped season short)
    2021 - took the season off
    2020 - 20 taps: 524 litres of sap / 18.75 litres of syrup
    2019 - 14 taps: 416 litres of sap / 15.25 litres of syrup
    2018 - 9 taps (309 litres) + a generous neighbour (114 litres): 423 litres of sap / 14.5 litres of syrup
    2017 - 4 taps: 55 litres of sap / 1.5 litres of syrup (just enough to get us hooked)

    All trees in my area are now full flow again. -2 last night and +3 today. Things are looking up.
    Snow has dropped about a foot in the past week but still 2 feet to lose my boot in without my snowshoes on, lol and the creeks/rivers are also starting to flow PRETTY good, yikes
    Is Georgian Bay starting to rise yet there's a lot of water coming your way !!!

    And Dlee I grew up in gravenhurst and move to niagara when I was 18 now I own a campground on the Bruce. I still moose hunt and fish in the muskoka as much as pos It always pulls ya back.

    Yea different pace in this area I golf a bit in Gravenhurst nice area sap ran today but not as good as I thought it would but enough to get me boiling again tomorrow. They are calling for rain all day tomorrow so it will be a good time to boil.

    They're calling for snow in the southwest!! We're under a flood warning with lots of rain predicted, with freezing rain and snow mixed in. :S
