Can the vanes in a Gast 2565 be turned over to use the other edge?
    Thanks Brian

I’m not sure why you couldn’t as long as they are not worn down beyond usefulness. It would require honing down the trailing edge of the vane so it is somewhat angled or contoured so the leading edge makes precise contact with the body of the pump. I rehabbed some vanes in one of our 1550s that were pretty chipped up but I used the original edge. I used a fine piece of sandpaper on a flat hard surface as a hone and did it by hand. Took a little while but looked new when I was done. That pump still pulls 25-26 inches after 3 seasons of use.
