    Default Labeling requirements in Massachusetts

Does anyone know if nutritional values, serving size, etc. need to be included on labels in Massachusetts? We've sold off our farm in the past and didn't think much about it but we are hoping to expand our business in some local stores, etc. I sent this question to Mass Maple Producers Association (which I'm a member of) but haven't received a response yet.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I believe nutritional labeling is required. Are you using Mass association jugs? They already have that information on them.

I'm not so sure about that. I think the letter of the Mass law is product (pure maple syrup), grade, name of producer (farm), and address. At least that's what it was when I first got started selling and I would think if the law changed, we would have heard about it one way or the other. In my non-MA Maple containers, I go by that and also find some way to include the size, too.
