Hey BigE, I only have 4L jugs on the trees and I'd have lost 1.8L of sap per tap if I hadn't emptied them out. With the sap running that crazy I didn't know how much wiggle room I could leave in the jugs. Maybe I should hang some of my blue plastic pails on days like this and only go out once. I have just finished my morning rounds and collected 75L. My two storage bins are almost full and the day is just starting. I saw a Great Blue Heron fly overhead. Boy will he be sorry when he gets to the pond. lol
