Knocked out 60 gallons today with another 60 in the barrels. My sugar today was down to 1.5% from 2% yesterday.... The pans are almost sweet and perhaps drawing off tomorrow!IMG_20190215_154254.jpg

hurry up and wait! 25 gallons collected today from yesterday's small run. I lit a fire to get a boil going to keep the sweet pan sanitized... Now I need 100 more gallons!

Forecasted to hit 50 today and stay above freezing most of the night. Should be enough of a run to fill all the pans back up for a weekend boil. Everything got good and frozen the last couple days.
2017 25 taps on buckets got me hooked 1 gallon of sweet
2018 51 taps on 3/16 tubing/ DIY oil tank evaporator 8.5gallons finished
2019 tapped 1/26 aiming to beat last year
I have it falling to 29 tonight at my weather station. that would be fantastic!
