Default Will i be okay to run ro?

I made a RO for this year. I have 2 4x40's in series. I performed the new membrane "rinse" several weeks ago with good clean well water. I want to use the RO today for the first time with sap. Will it be okay to use since it has sat for a few weeks or do I need to rinse it again before using?

I would give it a quick rinse, maybe not the full treatment

Me too. I would run at least 20 minutes worth of good soft well water, then save the permeate portion and run that thru. Then start running sap thru.
I never let my RO go for more than 3 days without running a quick rinse like that before running sap.

Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

Thanks so much for the quick replies!!! I will follow your advice! Don't want to impart bad flavor to my first batch...
