15 old school buckets went in today on my half dozen good sized maples. Sap running nicely this afternoon and the weather looks favorable this week.

I usually yield a couple gallons of syrup boiled in pans, enough to keep me busy and friends and family in syrup.

I might be early, but the birds are singing and the sun is out and it finally feels sort of warm.

Anyone else tapping yet in the Hudson Valley?

Wishing everyone a sweet and productive season.
