Southern PA disposable tree experiment
So the. Property I purchased has about 20 trees 12-30 inches in diameter. On Tuesday about half of them are getting torn out for my road access. I hate that but there are no other options. I looked at the upcoming weather and saw above freezing as highs till Tuesday so I thought I would do some experimenting on the trees that are coming down. Tonight I tapped 8 of them and they all started dripping right away. I plan to go back in the morning to tap two more.
One of them was flowing super heavy. It was running down the drill. When I put a spout in I noticed it was darker. Not sure what that means. It was flowing much heavier then the others.
