I thought very briefly about it, but latter part of 10 day forecast has a number of nights in single digits with daytime temps in the 20s. Decided to hold off and see what happens are that.

2019 - 6th year sugarin'. 2nd year using propane. 13 taps. Just over 3/4 gal syrup. Light in color and flavor.
Intent to build a new barrel evaporator with my son this summer. Still don't weld. We'll see how it goes.
Temps in Needham for the next 10 days actually don't look bad. If I had those temps I would be tapping. Over here in Franklin County area temps run around 7 degrees cooler and my trees don't seem to run good at 34 degrees but 40 is the goldilocks zone
2018 -12 taps 8 vacuum 4 gravity/RO = 3 gallons syrup
2019 - 20 taps upgraded vacuum system/RO = goal 7 gallons
Handful of warm days this week but still more highs in the 30s in the 10 day forecast than I'd like to see... gonna wait a bit longer.
Tapped last weekend in Mendon. Got a few hundred gallons of run so far...Still coming in.
