    Post West Michigan Tapping

The weather forecast for the next 6 days is perfect for sap flow but I can't bring myself to consider tapping so early. Anyone else struggling with the thought of tapping?

It is still to early to consider tapping anywhere in Michigan. Depending on where you are located in West Michigan, will dictate when it will be time to tap. If you are in the southern part, it will be around February, but it keeps getting later as you move north.

Even with temps forecasted to be in the 40's for a few day's here in the TC area it is going to drop right back down to below freezing again. I plan to wait until lait Feb early March as usual.
