Horizontal mount of membranes

Was wondering if there is any reason not to mount 4x40 membrane
housings horizontal. Upgrading a Deer Run 126 to a 250 in series. Horizontal
would work better in my setup. Appreciate any feedback.

Several manufacturers mount them horizontally.

we have ours mounted horizontally on the wall due to lack of floor space. No issues. Just make sure your brackets are strong enough and that they are bolted into good wood.
