Default Tee's VS Wye's - Main to Branch Line

Happy Fall everyone. Been in the woods working now that it's not 100 degrees. The woods were initially set up as old school gravity. We've upgraded and added vacuum. We're upgrading again and it's time to start adding actual branch lines. When adding perpendicular main/branch lines should we use a Tee or a Wye?

Y's perform best in a wet line, dry lines can be a T. In the wet line the Y gives you less turbulance.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

Ys work better for less turbulence as the sap is already moving in that direction. Ts will create disruption in flow and cause an early freeze up point. Also spend the money on stainless now it will pay off in the long run.
