    Looks like you can't get much farther north without going into Quebec.
    Dave Klish about 1320 taps in '15, down to about 700 in '16, up to 1000 for 2019?

    Not much. . Maybe a 7 mile drive to Canada from here, or a 2 mile boat ride (or swim). Our view out over the lake looks due North into Canada.

    Moved to our house in Newport full-time when my wife retired in May. Figured since I was here, I’d do some local presentations. Started sugaring as a kid in my grandfathers operation not too far from here about 50 yrs ago. Buckets and wood.

    Pick & Shovel is the kind of place where if you can’t find it in the store (other than groceries), you probably don’t really need it.
