    Default Oil stack set back

I have an oil fired mini pro. Real small sugar house. I would like to have it fairly tight to the back wall. Is there a minimum clearance from the wal I need to observe?
    Thanks

I burn oil and my stack temp is around 575 and that has never been a problem being within 12-14" from a painted OSB wall. Now insulating is easy with 3X5 1/2 Hardy backer board screwed to the wall. Use double wall if your worried.

In residential building in NH, Single wall pipe can not be any closer than 18" to a combustible surface. That being said, will your sugarhouse be inspected by a building inspector? Probably not. But a insurance audit may catch it if you were to have one.
