Windy Acres, that is genius. I never thought of a foot actuator switch. You have both hands free to hold the bottles and screw on the lids. Genius.

Let us know how well it works.

I got the idea from looking at another producers bottling valve that they had purchased many years ago, I think the foot pedal will make things nice

I have one made by The Maple Guys, bought it about 10 yrs ago. I had no issues until this year when I started to get very slow drips. I'll pull it apart soon, there must be a damaged O ring or other seal causing it.
You will really like using one, very simple and effective. Mine came with 3 interchangeable spouts for different size containers. Directions said to use smaller spouts for small containers and larger for bigger ones to avoid foaming in the container. After the first year I just left the largest one in and I simply adjust the flow with a ball valve ahead of the electric valve, much faster to get the proper flow.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

Did you buy this as a complete unit or did you gather parts and put it together? Looks like a good idea.
