    Default Stingy trees

These two trees have been tapped now for a month and haven't given up a drop of sap. What did I do wrong?

Looks like you don't have enough slope in your mainline!

If a tree does not have branches or roots it produces as much sap as a telephone pole
30x8 Leader revolution, wood fired blower, steamaway/hood. 903 taps all but 54 on pipeline and 3 vacuum systems. Hauling sap this year with a 99 F350 7.3 diesel dump and of course back up is the Honda 450 and trailer.

Sadly, my woods trees haven't given me much more sap than these two yet. It's pretty much still winter here, with colder than normal temps and 2.5-3 ft. of snow in the woods. It's a race against time at this point, I hope they run for 3 weeks before the trees bud.
