    Default ROhousing/membrane connection question

OK - probably dumb question but I thought I would ask. I saw on another post it doesn't matter which end the concentrate and sap connections are on as long as they are on the outside end connections and the permeate comes out the center tap. Does that mean the sap can be fed into the same end that the permeate is coming out? I haven't seen one plumbed that way but my "homemade unit" is currently plumbed that way. I haven't used it yet. Just ran 60 gallons of water through it.

Thanks for any help with this.

What type of membrane are you using? on my home made ro I am using 100 gpd residential membranes and it needs to feed on opposite end were permeate comes out because of the way the seal on the outside of the membrane is designed .

One end of the membrane will have a seal on the outside and the other will not. You want to feed the membrane on the side with the seal. The permeate can come out either side.
