    Default Maple nuts

Thanks everyone for the maple nut recipe. Poured in about 1/4 cup of our dark amber and boiled it ubtil foaming. Oh boy only took a minute. Dumped in nuts and started stirring. Ron took over. I couldn't keep that up. All done perfectly in a few stirs. Another recipe i was afraid of. Thank you all

Have made Salted Maple Almonds many times now, made a deal on a large industrial style Hobart mixer. Figured it would be a lot easier on our arms, big mistake. Just finished a large batch, but the dough hook broke so many almonds it is more like something you would make into granola bars. Guess I’ll just have to go back to Armstrong stirring and use this for making granulated sugar
