    Default Tapping in Farmington

Had a few taps up for over a week, weather went cold, trees are running again, already ran 30 gallons of sap through thr RO, got 8 gallons of concentrate down to 6.7 pints of syrup.

About the same here. I had some taps in over a week ago and some produced s little. Now have 33 in and most are dripping. A few good ones are running good the last couple days. I have 15 gallons so far and plan to have a lot in the next few days. Perfect weather forecasted.

Funny how fast it will go from too much snow to mud in the next few days.

I counted 93 taps last night, Saturday i will be pulling the omes that aren't producing and move them to other trees.

The snow and mud is really great, especially when you live near a flood plain.
