    Default oil tank flue

so I have a 275 oil tank I removed from my house. I am trying to decide on the flue exit. I am think of cutting the tank in half and have the flue come out the back or out the top. My other option is to leave the curve on top and come out the top. what is you guys thoughts . Another question is do you think a 2x2 pan is large enough for around 20 to 30 taps or should I go 2x3.

I would go with the 2x3 for a better evaporation rate and better resale value when you expand and get a bigger evaporator. I would also use the curved part for the stack exit. It's sort of like the flare at the bottom of the base stack on a factory evaporator.
