    Default Slimy film on sap

This week was really warm and my sap has a little film floating on the top. Like spit almost and it is a little slimy. I can skim it off for the most part, and the sap otherwise looks and smells fine. No cloudiness or anything. Do you think my syrup will be fine if I boil it as usual after skimming the slime off?

Just going out on a ledge here but I'm thinking sap and slime are a bad combination. I've not experiance it before so I might be wrong. Ted

If the sap is thin and has no discernible smell, it should be okay.
