    Default H2O 600 won't start

Tonight, I tried doing my preseason startup and membrane flush and the RO doesn't start. I've contacted the company, but wanted to get as much info as I can to get this figured out.

The low pressure light was on. Turned the switch to start, low pressure light goes out, nothing happens. Turn breaker off/on, still nothing. Open the cabinet, everything looks fine. There's three relays (I think that's what they are), I push the middle button on each of them, and all 3 pumps start up, so power to pump is not an issue. I break out the multimeter, and poke around with it, and getting 120V everywhere. The switch has four terminals. The top 2 and bottom left (if you're looking at the back) all have 120V, turn the switch, and the 4th terminal gets full power. I'm thinking the switch works. Pumps work when manually operated. I'm at a loss.

Has anyone come across this issue before? Any ideas? Need more info?

Not thinking I'll get enough sap to boil until early next week, so there's some time to order parts if needed.

    Thanks for the help.
    Josh

Possibly a switch or sensor problem. The pressure sensors can have a small rubber diaphragm that separates the electronics from the sensor head. If the rubber cracks or the sensor goes bad, it'll toss an error and not allow the pumps to operate.

    Thanks Dr. Tim.

I was wondering if the low pressure sensor too.

Spoke with Kyle from H2O this morning. He's thinking the fuse blew. Says there's spares in the cabinet. Stay tuned.

I actually had the same thing happen to me once but I can't remember what I did to make it work. I think it was a breaker that was tripped but didn't appear to be.

Is your RO 110v or 220v? You mentioned testing 110v but if it’s supposed to be 220v then possibly you have lost 1 leg of power.

Sorry, each leg was testing at 110V.

They have two 0.5amp fuses. Kyle went over it with me last night, and one fuse was broken. Swapped in both spares and good to go.

    Thanks for the replies.

110 to ground, 220 between each other. Sometimes you can get a false reading just going to ground. Read between phases also.
