I sell a 4 oz bag of nuts for $5. I usually do pecans and walnuts and sometimes cashews. Almonds can get soggy even if you roast them first.

I do $8 for an 8 ounce bag. The trick for almonds is to take your syrup to 250 or 255. light syrup works good at lower temps than darker syrup. Typically the more it foams when heating the higher the temp you need to go.
