I want to premake as many confections as I can for maple weekend. Can they be frozen, and if so, is there a good way to thaw them to avoid condensation and spots/softening/etc? Can they be packaged in bags and ready to go, or stored in boxes and packaged the week of maple weekend?
Below is what I'm going to make for maple weekend and what I'd like to freeze.
Maple Cream-Already do it...non-issue
Maple Candy-Afraid of spotting from condensation.
Maple Popcorn-Afraid of popcorn getting soft during the thaw
Maple Nuts-Assuming it should be fine.
