Default 5/16 tubing with low spot

Hi people, first question for the new guy.
I've been eyeing a grove of trees for 20 years.(30 taps) I haven't tapped it because it has a dip. I guess over half the taps would be above the tank but the ending would be level or below. Once the sap gets flowing will the up hill sap push the low sap to the tank?
The high taps are 10' - 15' above the tank going down to - 6'.

Are the lower taps six feet below the tank? Can you run two lines and put the tank in the low spot?
My guess is that you're going to see the lower sap back up and stop or hinder the flow from the upper taps.

Yes, the line ends below the tank. The problem with putting a tank down there is that it's say 40' from the landing. I would have to carry a pump down there.

Tough one. If the tank isn’t accessible in the lowest spot your looking at pumps and usually makes things more complicated but not impossible. If you have power near by that makes things easier.

I was hoping someone would say it should work fine. I'll just have to climb down there and pump it out.

Could always try getting a ladder and tapping the lowest tree up high, 6feet isn't that crazy high to give you a little slope back to the tank. I've done this in a few spots with 5/16 and It worked fine for me. Just remember your ladder when you go to pull the taps, and the snow melts haha .

I use a ladder on one of my runs too. But it's right where I park and turn around.
    I'll continue looking at it.
    Thank you
