My picture is my avitar. Inside, with a 3x8 and a small RO closet I'm super crowded. Equipment just fills up more than I ever thought it would. When I built my 16x24 sugarhouse, it was for a 2x6, but I poured the evaporator footers to be able to have any evaporator up to a 3x10. I now have a 3x8 and that will be my largest, but the RO heated room, the filter press, the 2x6 finisher, the WJ bottler, the 2 freezers (to store retail syrup), the counters, a sink, a hot water heater and the 16x24 is crowded. Too late now for me, since I'm slowing down, but I wish I'd had the foresite to build a 24x36 sugarhouse.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

Traced a maple leaf onto a piece of marine plywood and cut it out with a jigsaw. Slid a piece of glass behind it with a piece of red film stuck to it. I keep a small led light behind it 24/7. My wife is Canadian so its an homage to her as much as anything!
