    Thank you very much for that information. I'm going to change for next year. Will 3/16 Line work if I don't have much slope? And was the setup you had with the 3/16 line at 2000 feet in length hooked to the Shurflo

    Here is my setup so far, just waiting on my automatic bypass valve from Amazon to get here, have it running on 175 taps from 7 x 3/16 runs, the shortest being 600' and the longest 1050'. Pulling 24-25 inches of vacuum when the sap is flowing good.

    Using a shurflo 4008 with 12 volt deep cycle battery and 2 x75 watt solar panels.

    Hello Deckers007,

    Do you let the pump run until your line are frozen? What are your thermostat settings?
    Where did you get your barb x 1/2 NPT?

    Hes on here, I think his name is biz. I dont think he has an actual website, just uses his facebook page. Try sending him a pm, he responded to mine when I was interested in his units.
