I put one together but still need to add the final touches to it. I used a 2x8 and an idler pulley from tractor supply.

Not quite complete (mainly releaser stuff yet). Hope to get it fully up and running to have it run once or twice this year.

Anyone have any experience putting a gast 1550 on an electric motor? Sick of filling a gas tank 2-3 times a day

That was going to be my next question, what size electric motor works best. I just picked up a 1/2hp used electric motor that spins 1725rpm so I'm thinking I'll match the pullies and should be good to go

i think that will work fine , the 1550 i used to have was a 1/2hp 1725 rpm with the same size pulley on the motor as the pump and it worked great
