    Default Bush took a beating

I just got my woods under control a few days ago then last nights high winds set me back a bit. I was going to expand a bit but now clean up for a while. Welp, at least I got some more firewood. Cant wait to see what the deer woods looks like.

i hear ya on the woods taking a beating. my bush got beat up real good in Sunday night's storm. lots of trees down and even more limbs. I did a quick look around last night before dark and don't see a lot of maples down, but pretty much every softwood tree I have is either on the ground or leaning against another tree. gonna take a while to clean this mess up!! Parts of this area will be without power for 3-4 days! my buddy lost just about every tree in his yard... a few landing on his house. Mother nature sure can be a bi*ch.

    To tcross,

It's Paul Post, a writer for The Maple News. Will you please call me so I can do a story about your storm damage? I need photos, too, if you have any. Thanks

Try to PM him. There are still people with no power around here. So internet may be limited. I took a drive by our groves. Very little damage to the groves but some roads were impassable.

I just got my power back today. Haven't had seen or read any news till a couple hours ago. Working for a town I've been a little busy so I wouldn't have had time anyway. Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday I'll get in the woods, maybe even with a gun, and check things out. Hope all is good for everyone else
