Special grate ?? for new blower on 2x5
I'll pick up my new Lapierre Jr 2x5 wood fired evap next month, and already purchased a blower from Mason to go with it. But I've read since that the regular grate in the fire box is not appropriate with a blower, and I may need a grate that spreads the air across the fire? Can anyone guide me on that? Where to get a grate made for this unit, or make one? I don't think Lapierre makes one. I thought of calling Bill Mason. I assume I could run the evap with the regular grate that comes with it, not it's not optimal. What will be the result if I don't use a new grate? Thanks.
