    You are going to want to cover the air piping, otherwise that will warp within the first few boils. Ceramic blanket works, or you could use brick. Good luck with it.

    I forgot to take a pic after, bit I have roxul on it and will be putting ceramic blanket on it when I get more(ran out). Do you think I'll be OK with 2" Roxul for the first couple of boils?

    First few will be fine. Ceramic blanket will be the best. I am on year 5 with my arch, no warping around the air pipes

    It took a little bit to get this thing figured out but we are loving it! It's running pretty steady at 40-42GPH! We made 8 gallons this weekend.
