Default LOAC tool mod for 3/16

After doing the 5/16 shims last year and dropping more lines than is like to admit, I was determined tok make the LOAC tool work the way I wanted, I use H2O tubing which is a little smaller, which doesn't help things, so here's what I did and it works very well20170907_173313.jpg20170907_173310.jpg

Interesting...All I have to do with my LOAC tool to switch from CDL 5/16 to CDL 3/16 is tighten the tensioners on the jaws.

Yeah, the H20 3/16 is a lot smaller, it would pull right out putting drops in

I just wanted to add an update, while the wires worked real good, every now and t hen I would get a small dent in the tubing, so I went with the hot g lie to hold the 5/16 onto tthe jaws, it is holding great so far

Just file the heal on both sets of jaws just enough that the toes touch when closed, then you can do both sizes without messing with the hot glue or anything but simply turning the top adjuster which takes 3-4 seconds each and you go from one size to the other. I filed mine by hand which maybe took 2 minutes for each jaw.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
