So this new bush (that is 40 acres) I have permission to tap only has one access to it which is to drive down the road to the far south east corner of the woods and then drive on the other side of the ditch back to the south west side of the woods where I will be needing to be to get sap out of the bush. It would be far more convenient to install an approach on the south west side of the woods to cut down on travel time. I haven't talked to the owner yet about putting in an approach because I don't know if the cost is split 50/50 or I pay for it all or the land owner pays for it all. What have some of you done in this type of situation? Thank you in advance!!

Are you renting the lot or is the landowner just letting you use it?
