SafeWay is in Alaska and also sells cheap. Most all jugs say "Product of Canada" on the back. It's hard to imagine bulk price going up anytime soon. Canada has 44 million taps and just had a record season. We here in the States had a record season also. We will be lucky to see $1.75 LB next season. In order to expand market worldwide the price has to come down. I can assure you that more Log Cabin is sold then the real stuff. Ask any store manager ( and I have ) and they will say the same thing.

I send out a bunch of my own before I go out, I saw a farmers market going on in down town phoenix, going to stock up on syrup and hit it next time out see how I do.
