Default Have a 7' tall garage. Will a hood fit?

Set up now with a 2X4 arch. I now have access to an old garage, 22'X22' 7' ceilings. The ceiling is painted wood (needs new paint) Now I may upgrade a bit from the 2X4 to something a bit larger. But my question is: I would like to add a steam hood (possibly with fan) and looking for opinions on doing this in my 7' tall garage? My imagination tells me that would be ok but not sure I am factoring in all that I need to?
Go ahead and chime in with your thoughts.

It is probably doable, but might be a bit tight, especially if you were to upgrade to a raised flue setup. I think the top of our hood is over 6' above the floor. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to use the garage for a sugarhouse, just keep the ceiling height in mind when considering any upgrades.
