Sugar Married to a Buckeye?
My daughter and I were out GPS'ing potential taps on the north end of our farm and she found this pair. Can we successfully tap this sugar maple without fear of having some buckeye sap? I know buckeyes are toxic, and the USDA factsheet I found said even the bark and leaves are toxic. I'm not goin to be upset over losing one tree- but I'd like to know if anyone else has any facts or even opinions to add.IMG_20170928_135659.jpgIMG_20170928_135650.jpg
