Sad news. I was glad to see that Eric found a way to keep living and doing what he loved without being stopped by his wheelchair or his illness. Condolences.

Absolutely an inspiration and positive attitude I'm not sure I would maintain given the cards he was dealt. Thoughts and prayers for the family. I will miss speaking with him at Verona.

Can't say enough good about the guy, I never met him in person but even in his last few years which it was a struggle every day I'm sure, he took time to Share contacts and information w/o being asked
He really loved Sugaring and I am sure he would have helped anyone be successful with it. My condolences to his family.

Hi everyone. I'm Will Seibert, and Eric Johnson was my college roommate and close friend. I have helped him and his brother Keith boil sap and jug syrup over the last few years. I was with him and his wife right through the end yesterday. He was gracious and courageous to the last.

I was planning on introducing myself soon, as I am finding that sugaring is a way that I can stay connected to Eric. I plan to tap the 20 or so maples at my home in Ridgefield, CT next year, and will be checking in with you all along the way.

Anyway, it is good to see people here sharing about Eric. He loved this community, and I look forward to being a part of it.

I am glad you have decided to take up sugaring and to join us on Maple Trader as a way to keep and honor Eric in your memories. My condolences to you and Eric's family and friends.
