I usually save the high test for the end of day in front the of the wood stove in the house. But I've been know to have "soda" in the shack. Sometimes some homemade wine. But the most common "drink" is the constant syrup pan sample I ladle into a very small SS cup. I guess I'm obsessed with checking the product. I use syrup every day, but nowhere near as much as the tasting during boiling. It's one of my most favorite parts of the job. I should be 100lbs overweight, but that's not the case.
