No....this isn't a political advertisement.....but I am hoping you can help.

I urge you all to look at and consider voting for Dori Ross in the Tory Burch Foundation Fellows Competition for women entrepreneurs. Dori is originally from Ontario, but currently lives in Vermont, and is the founder of Tonewood, a company that works to market innovative maple products from local producers. Dori and Tonewood are strong supporters of local, sustainable maple production and also support Climate Change research at the University of Vermont Proctor Maple Research Center.

If selected, Dori will receive: a 1-Year Fellowship, a 3-Day Workshop at Tory Burch, a $10k Grant for Business Education, and the opportunity to pitch for a $100,000 grant investment.

More information and a way to vote for Dori can be found at http://www.toryburchfoundation.org/fellow/dori-ross/ Keep in mind that you can vote daily from now until April 4th. If enough maple producers get involved and vote each day, it will help to support one of our own.
